ROSENBLATT, Joe. The Kissing Goldfish of Siam. Toronto: Exile Editions, 1989. First Edition. Trade paperback. 227x152mm. 110pp. Very Good.
With illustrations by the author. A "memoir" of the author's adolescence in the 50s: an ecstatic, sometimes painful, sometimes hilarious memoir in which a country pond on the edge of a resort town called Pontypool is the metaphor for induction in to the world of sex and metaphysics, political speculation and the mundane facts of life in the mud, much as a toad might see it. This copy has light fading to the spine, and the laminate has bubbled at the upper right corner of the front cover.
